Recipe: Hello

Ingredients:
Kraft Card Base 80lbs-100lbs
Neenah Classic Crest Cover 100lb, Solar White/White or cardstock of choice
Altenew Craft a Flower: Tulip /full Bloom Layering Die Set
Avery Elle Sentimental Stamp Set (for sentiment only)
Altenew Inks: Warm Sunshine, Forest Glades, Misty Sage, Mossy Meadow, Green Opal, Heart Beat and Berry Mocha
Versafine Onyx Black
Card Base: Using Kraft cardstock create a 4 ¼” x 5 ½” side folding card base.
Card Front: Using white cardstock, cut to 4 1/8” x 5 ½”
Background: Orientation of the card base will be landscape, starting at the bottom of the card and going up roughly 1/3rd for each color start with Green Opal at the bottom, blend into Mossy Meadow in the middle and Warm Sunshine at the top.
Flowers: Die cut three flowers. Apply Heart Beat as the primary color and use Berry Mocha as the shadow at the bottom of the flowers and for the petals at the back of the assembled flower.
Leaves: Die Cut three sets of stems and leaves. Using Forest Glades, Misty Sage and Mossy Meadow, color the leaves and stems using darker colors for leaves in the background and lighter colors for leaves in the foreground.
Assembly: Place the three flowers along the yellow and green blended line/horizon line. Mount the middle flower directly to the card base and raise the other two flowers with foam tape. Adhere the stems just under the flowers. Arrange the leaves around each stem so they flow around the outside of the flower. Cut of excess from the sides of the cards and use leaf trimmings to fill in the background, behind the flowers, to provide a little more dimension. Adhere the card front to the card base, there will be a 1/8” reveal at the top of the landscape card.
Sentiment: Stamp sentiment in the middle of the yellow band of color.
Recipe: Your Are Special

Ingredients:
Neenah Classic Crest Cover 100lb, Solar White/White or cardstock of choice
Light Blue 80lbs to 100lbs cardstock
Vellum
Altenew Water Builder Stencil
Altenew Magnificent Magnolia Layering Die Set
Altenew Calming Koi Stamp and Die Set
Altenew Inks: Warm Sunshine, Caramel Toffee, Ocean Waves, Aqualicious, Caribbean Sky, Pink Diamond, Pinkalicious, Rubellite, Razzleberry, Autumn Blaze, Permanent Black
Altenew Artist Markers: C019/Snapdragon, C020/Sunray
Sakura Glaze Pen-Black
Card Base: Using light blue cardstock cut a 5 ½” x 5 ½” cardbase
Card Front: From white cardstock, cut sheet to 5” x 5”
Background: Using the stencil, blend Ocean Waves, Aqualicious and Caribbean Sky to create ocean; don’t forget to rotate the stencil.
Flowers: From white cardstock, die cut three flowers from the Magnificent Magnolia Layering Die Set; there are five different blooms to choose from in the set, for my piece I chose the first one on the Layering Guide as I felt it fit the best. Ink the blooms with Pink Diamond (all over), Pinkalicious (from the top of the petal go down about ¼” and blend down to the center of the flower), Rubellite (just under Pinkalicious blended to center of the flower), and Razleberry (just under Rubellite blended to the center of the flower). For the die cut center of the flowers, color with a base coat of Snapdragon stippled with Sunray. Assemble flowers according to Layering Guide.
Fish: From white cardstock, die cut one of each Koi fish. From Vellum, die cut the fins and top of the fish (see Guide). Color white cardstock with Snapdragon and Sunray. Using the stamp set, stamp 1 to 2 spots on each fish black and 1 spot Autumn Blaze. Assemble the fish following the Layering Guide. For the eyes, I used the black glaze pen on top of the Vellum; there is a stamp for the eyes included in the stamp set.
Assembly: Adhere the stenciled card front to the card base. Arrange flowers and fish as desired on the stenciled card front using foam tape; to give them different dimensions use a thicker/taller tape for the flowers and a low profile tape for the fish.
Sentiment: Stamp sentiment in the lower left had corner of the card base.
Recipe: You Are Loved

Ingredients:
Neenah Classic Crest Cover 100lb, Solar White/White or cardstock of choice
Altenew You Are Loved Die
Altenew Inks: Deep Iris, Ride The Wave and Heart Beat
Ranger Glacier White Pigment Ink Pad
Scrapbook.com Glitter Brush Markers: Raspberry Pink and Frosty Blue
Card Base: From white cardstock, create at 5” x 7” side folding card base.
Card Front: Using white cardstock, cut a 4 ¾” x 6 ¾” card front. With the three ink colors, Deep Iris, Heart Beat and Ride The Wave, color/blend the card base. Colors should be spread out and random. Avoid patterns and solid bands, rather, place colors here and there throughout the card front and blend out until all of the colors appear to be transitioning into each other. After around two layers of ink, color over the Heart Beat with the Raspberry Pink Glitter Brush Marker and the Ride The Wave with the Frosty Blue Glitter Brush Marker. Apply at least one more layer of ink over the entire card though you may need more if you want a dramatic background.
Allow the card front to dry completely. The next step is to apply the white pigment ink, if you want to keep your pad as clean as possible, blot the ink onto your glass (or equivalent) work surface and pick up the ink from there, that way you limit the amount of ink that will get into your white pigment pad. Using a blending tool with a round or dome shaped foam, pick up the white pigment ink with the tool, and randomly stamp the white ink onto the card front; stamp as many circles as you want to get the desired effect. If the pigment ink is too light on the first application, you many need to do this multiple times. You want the application of the white pigment ink to be fairly heavy as it will dry lighter; you may want to test this out by stamping only one circle onto your card and allowing it to dry (or use your heat gun) in order to see if it has the intended result. Once dry, adhere the blended card front to the card base.
Sentiment: Using the You Are Loved Die, cut three sentiments from white cardstock. Stack and adhere the sentiments together. Adhere the sentiment to the center of the card front.
Kim, your cards are absolutely FANTASTIC!! LOVE LOVE LOVE Make sure to double-check the Inlinkz caption, your name and group number were missing :) I am glad that your name is on your blog so this was easy!
Kim, your cards are fabulous! I particularly love the first one, the texture on the “‘grassy/foliage” section looks like actual moss! Nicely done!
