Instructions:

From black cardstock, create a 4 ¼” x 5 ½” card base and a 2 ¾” x ¾” panel for the sentiment.

From white cardstock, create a 4” x 5 ¼” panel.

Emboss a flower from the Dancing Sunflowers Stamp Set on the white card panel. Once cooled, ink the panel

with Corla Bliss, Grapevine and Galactic Stream being sure to blend the colors. Spray the panel with water

and cover with a paper towel to soak up the water, the goal is to have the water droplets lift the ink; repeat until

the desired result is obtained. From the Bloom and Grow Stamp Set, emboss the sentiment “have an amazing

day” on the 2 ¾” x ¾” black panel, but do not stamp the “have”, just the “an amazing day” portion of the stamp.

Adhere the floral panel onto the black card base. Using foam tape, adhere the sentiment strip to the bottom

right-hand side of the card panel.

Instructions:

From white cardstock cut a 5” x 7” card base. From orange cardstock, cut a 5” x 7” panel and

adhere to card base. From black cardstock cut a 4 ¾” x 6 ¾” panel and adhere to the orange panel, then set

aside. Cut a 4 1/2” x 6 ½” panel from the watercolor paper.

Emboss the floral stamp onto the watercolor paper in the portrait orientation. Once cooled, begin water

coloring the panel. With water and a small to medium size watercolor brush, add water to the flower petals,

just enough to see the sheen of the water. At the base of the petal, drop in Fresh Lemon and pull out to the

middle of the petal, then, drop in a small amount of Autumn Blaze at the end of the petal and pull towards the

middle, blend for a smooth transition. Repeat for each of the flower petals. Use the same technique for the

stems and leaves, putting Sea Forest closer to the flowers, where the shade would be, and the lighter color,

Moss, for the tips the leaves and bottom of the stems. For the center of the flower, brushing with water first,

color with Citrus Burst. Let the entire panel dry completely.

Use the pencils to darken and enhance the flowers. For the flower centers, use the watercolor pencils, add a

layer of Yellow and use the Van Dyke Brown to add spots to mimic stamen. From the Woodless Colored

Pencils, use Fresh Lemon to enhance the base of the flower petals, transition colors, starting mid-petal, using

Maple Yellow, Orange Cream and Autumn Blaze.

Using black ink, stamp the sentiment on white cardstock. Die cut sentiment and two additional die cut pieces,

glue together. Adhere the sentiment to the lower right-hand side of the card with foam tape then adhere the

watercolor panel to the black cardstock on the card base.
